A prototype action game for iOS, funded by the Wellcome Trust. Free Radical is an action-puzzle game that engages players with the process of cell damage and repair, through a day in a normal life, giving them a greater awareness of how dietary and lifestyle choices effect how hard cells must work to keep a body healthy, and what steps can be taken to prevent and repair such damage.

Designed for mobile devices, and set inside a living cell, the player takes on the role of ensuring that the cell can replicate healthily by protecting and repairing the DNA damaged caused by interactions with free radicals. The game is a combination of action, puzzle, and resource management with the player responsible for defending DNA from free-radicals and repairing damage when it does occur.
