Mycrobe Game
Winner of the Wellcome Trust prototype development award, Mycrobe is a microscopic virtual pet game for iOS, where you determine the fate of your very own microorganism through the mutation of its genome. Players can collect and trade rare mutations and infect friends with their unique combinations of traits, and play genetics-based minigames.
Mycrobe pulls together traditional elements of virtual life games with Opposable Games’ One Touch Connect technology – giving players the ability to trade and colonise one another’s petri dishes adds an additional collection and sharing mechanic to a fully featured, charming, and scientifically sound virtual pet.
